Boomer Jerritt – Kayaking Close Encounters

Kayaking close encounters will be the subject of the Thursday February 1st meeting of the Comox Valley Paddlers Club – close encounters with Humpback whales, with porpoising penguins, and with seals. All are set in the beautiful landscapes of our planet’s remote polar regions, regions that folks may never have a chance to be able to visit, let alone kayak.

He has been involved in the photographic industry since his graduation from the Western Pacific Academy of Photography in 1990. Primarily a lifestyle and recreation photographer, his editorial imagery can be seen in various tourism initiatives and publications here in British Columbia and throughout North America. Boomer has completed three photography books and also teaches at NIC.
