Campbell River Estuary – Aug 23, 2017

Destination:   Campbell River Estuary

Date:   Wednesday, August 23, 2017

Time and Meeting Place:  Launch is at 6:00.  Drive down Spit Road behind Canadian Tire and just past the Thunderbird Campsite pull into the playground parking.  Give yourself lots of time to be ready to paddle by 6:00.    The actual launch area is quite small so put your boats on the grass and get them ready.  Once we have all signed in and gotten directions for the evening then we will quickly help everyone to launch.

Description:  This is an opportunity to get together with the Campbell River Paddling Club. We will paddle around in the estuary and up the Campbell River. There is at least one fun channel to paddle in for added adventure.

The Campbell River Paddling Club has invited us to stay after the paddle for a hot dog roast. They will supply the hot dogs and condiments. Bring juice, pop or something to drink. I am sure any contributions of a sweet treat to be share would be appreciated by all.
