Destination: Royston launch site, paddle South towards Ships Pt and return

Time: Paddles in water at 6:00 pm
Meeting Place: Royston boat launch, near Royston Rd and Marine Drive. You can unload on the beach before parking roadside, but remember it is a rising tide. The low tide is at 2:56 pm and high at 10:40 pm
Description: Paddles in the water at 6:00 pm. The plan is to launch at Royston Beach and paddle south for about an hour against the tide to a landing point for a stretch break. (Probably Ships Point). We will then return with the tide to the launch site.

Other Conditions: As we are on the sea, everyone must have a seaworthy kayak, sprayskirt and all the appropriate safety gear. All paddlers must have practised their self and assisted rescues. This paddle is weather and wind dependent so check the website, facebook and emails for cancellation notice. Attendance at pre launch, on shore meeting is mandatory.
