The very knowledgeable, Allan Chamberlain Professor Emeritus, Fish and Wildlife at Fleming College, Peterborough Ontario, and Tsolum River Restoration Society Volunteer will be presenting “Observers Guide to Eyes on the River” based on his booklet of the same name.
“Since 2021, l’ve met many souls on the banks of the solum River who have shared their passion and knowledge of this watershed. Many of them had their favourite locations where they would exercise, or just sit in tranquility and observe the natural beauty of the landscape. I was fascinated by their stories. These stories stay with me and make me appreciate the value of rivers and riparian areas for out mental well-being. It also makes me realize how valuable their knowledge is collectively, as a contribution to citizen science.”
