Destination: Point Holmes to Air Force Beach

Description: Scenic paddle. Eagle, heron and seal sigthings are common.The tide will be rising with high tide at 8:47pm,
allowing us to skim over most of the large rocks. We will pull up on Airforce Beach for a break and a snack.
Length of Trip (hours/days): 7 – 8 km round trip depending on where we stop at Air Force Beach. 2 – 2 1/2 hours
Maximum People: No Limit

Notes: The long range forecast is favourable, so it looks like it will be a great evening for a paddle. Bring a snack for our break at Airforce Beach. Sunset on August 5th is 8:53pm, so we will choose our rest spot allowing for a 20-30 minute stop and a return before sunset. If for any reason the paddle is cancelled, the Trip Committee will be notified so they can let everyone know.
