Comox Paddlers Club Trip Coordinator’s Description
Destination: Royston Wrecks shoreline paddle towards Puntledge River (Airpark Culvert)
Date: Wed. July 17, 2024
Time: Arrive at 5:30 pm On the water at 6 pm
Meeting Place: Royston boat launch (Marine Drive near Royston Road). Low tide is at 1 pm and high tide at 9 pm
Description: The plan is to launch at Royston boat launch, next to Royston Picnic area, paddle north towards Puntledge river. We will be stopping at Courtenay Marine Park for washroom and stretch legs break. We will then paddle through Culvert at Air Park and maybe up Millard Creek if we have time.
Length of Trip (hours/days): 2.5 to 3hrs
Rating: 1 = Day Paddle–Easy. There will not be much fluctuation in the tide this night.
