Destination: Campbell River Estuary

Date: Wednesday, May 12th

Time: Paddles in the water at 6 pm. If more than 10 people the second group will be set for 6:15 pm I will put people in groups in the order e-mails are received and will e-mail all participants after 6 pm May 11th.

Meeting Place: Parking Lot on Spit Road, Campbell River (on left side of road approximately 1.4 km from Highway 19A)

Length of Trip (hours/days): 2 – 3 hours

Rating: Rating is 1. You will have to navigate a narrow, twisty channel with rudders up. You might also have to duck under logs across the channel.

Notes: This is a favorite paddle of mine…There may be some tight spaces and you may have to manipulate yourself under a log, but that’s all part of the adventure! There may be shallow spots….
