Destination: Comox Lake

Date: May 5, 2021

Time: Paddles in the water at 6:00 PM. If more than 10 people register, then a second group will delay until 6:10. I will put people in groups as I receive their registration. I will respond to each registration by email after close of registration. By registering it is assumed that you have read and agree to the Comox Paddlers Club (CPC) Disclosure of Responsibilities, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity on your membership form.

Meeting Place: Cumberland Lake Campground boat launch. Proceed through Cumberland and follow Comox Lake Road to the boat launch.

Description: This is one of my favorite paddles. We will follow the shoreline over to Perseverance Creek. We will go up the creek until we run out of water and come back out. Onwards to Bicycle Island then depending on time and weather conditions we may make it as far as the mouth of the Puntledge River before returning to our cars.

Length of Trip (hours/days): 2 to 2 1/2 hours

Rating: Rating is 1 (Day Paddle – Easy)
