Time: Paddles in the water 5:30 pm
Meeting Place: Comox Dam Recreation Area, on Comox Lake Logging Rd.
Directions: Take Lake Trail Rd and turn left onto Comox Logging Road at the four-way. Continue on for a few kilometers. The designated parking is to the right just past the one way bridge.

Description: A leisurely river paddle between Comox Lake Dam and the Lower Dam site
Length of Trip: 2 to 3 hours, though we need to be out of the park by 8 pm because the park operator locks the gate.
Rating: 1 – easy

Max People: No limit, all welcome
Other conditions: Wind doesn’t usually affect this area. We will cancel if extremely windy or heavier rain.
Notes: Be aware of the many recreational vehicles in the area. Also, it is tricky to get boats down and up the steep set of steps to the beach so we will need to wear sturdy footwear and help each other. The assembly line worked well last year.
