Time: Paddles in water @ 3:30 pm
Meeting place : Union Bay boat ramp
Description: Paddle over to Jáji7em (Tree Island). Stop for picnic and maybe a swim or walk on Jáji7em (Tree Island), then paddle around the island and back to Union Bay. Tide will be above 4 metres by 5 pm so enough water to paddle around. Aim to be back at Union Bay by 8 pm
Length: approx 13 km. 4 hours with time for picnic supper and swim/walk
Rating : 2 – not a beginner paddle as it involves a 4.3 km crossing. Must have practiced a wet exit and rescue. Kayak must be at least 14 feet long
