Comox Paddler’s Club – Coordinator’s Trip Description
Destination: Puntledge River – (Dam to Dam)
Date: Wednesday, July 13, 2022
Time: Paddles in the water at 5:30 p.m. This is an early launch time because the gate closes at 8 pm. Please arrive by 5:00 p.m.
Meeting Place: Comox Lake Dam
Stay on Lake Trail Rd. for 4.4 km (from Willemar & Lake Trail 4-way stop)
Turn Left at the stop sign onto Comox Logging Road
Another 4 km (turns to gravel part way – watch for trucks and potholes) then cross the one-lane bridge.
Entrance to Comox Dam Recreation Area is on the right (blue sign)
Description: Puntledge River paddle (easy, slow flowing water)
Length of Trip (hours/days): 1.5 hours
