Destination: Tree / Sandy Island Marine Park

Time: depart 6:00 PM (arrive by 5:30 to ensure everyone ready)
Meeting Place: Union Bay boat launch
Description: Nice paddle to a sandy beach for a snack and paddle back. Possibly circumnavigate the island (if strong paddlers).
Length of Trip (hours/days): 3 to 3.5 hours. (4.5 km each way)
Rating: 2=Day Paddle–Intermediate.
Coordinator – Jay Van Oostdam
Max. People: 5 to 10 (if additional leaders present)
Other Conditions:
Notes: Not a beginner’s paddle. Nice paddle in good weather, if uncertain / windy conditions will paddle in Bayne Sound toward Buckley Bay ferry.
